Steve Sinclair & John Chaffee Interview Posted

Last Thursday, our NPUG Director, Michael Ashby co-hosted the Computer Outlook radio show. The guests were Steve Sinclair, Treo 700p Sr. Product Manager, with Palm and John Chaffee, with Six Apart.

Steve of course talked about the recently released Treo 700p, going through all the details of this new smartphone. John got us up to speed on what’s been happening with SplashBlog since selling it to Six Apart and starting as their specialist in mobile solutions.

Show notes for this episode can be found at this link, and the .mp3 file can be found at this link.

David Allen’s GTD|The RoadMap Seminar - June 23rd

In March our topic for the month covered David Allen’s Getting Things Done. In the meeting we covered the basics of the GTD methodology and how you could use your Palm to practice GTD methods. During the meeting we also mentioned that David Allen would be holding his GTD|The RoadMap seminar in Atlanta during the summer, June 23rd to be exact. As part of their generosity, Getting Things Done offered the Nashville Palm Users Group members a discount of 10% off of the cost of the seminar.

Well that generosity has grown! We’ve just received another e-mail with another offer. If you would like to attend the GTD|The RoadMap seminar in Atlanta on June 23rd you can now save 20%, that’s right 20% off the cost of the seminar. But wait, there’s more-if you register 30 days prior to the seminar there is a $50 early bird saving too!

Our “prize pimp” Randy Jones will be attending the seminar and will register on Monday May 22nd so that he can save the maximum amount using the discounts offered. If we can get a group to attend (2 or more) we may be able to use an additional discount. If you are interested in attending and want to receive the deep discounts that are being offered, please respond to this post or contact Randy at randy@npug.org and he’ll contact you with more details.

If you can’t respond before the early bird registration deadline (May 22nd) you can still save the 20% through June 10th, again just contact Randy at randy@npug.org for more details.
