February 2006 ArchivesThe Meeting Is OnThe streets are clear, the library is open, so the meeting is on! February 11, 2006 @ 09:15 AMMeeting StatusIt’s looking like the weather could be a problem tomorrow. It’s unclear at this point though what the impact of the weather will be, so as of this posting, we are planning on having the meeting tomorrow. That being said, we are dependant upon the Edmonson Pike library to be open and we won’t know of it’s status until 9am Saturday morning. That leaves us little room for advance notice of a meeting cancellation, so we’re planning on holding the meeting if at all possible. Please check the web site before you head out though. We will post a final status here on the site in the morning. February 10, 2006 @ 10:19 PMWe’ll Have A Treo 700w For Demo This SaturdayAt this Saturday’s meeting, we are lucky enough to have a Treo 700w for everyone to demo. The demo is courtesy of Palm, Inc. and is on loan for a review. However, we’ll pass it around at the meeting so that everyone can play with it and see what a 700w is like. Should be a lot of fun, so we hope you can make the meeting! This month, we’re asking “How Do You Listen To Music Most?” Of course multiple choice option would have been best, since you probably listen to music in a wide variety of ways. But what we’re looking for is where do you listen MOST OFTEN. Don’t listen to music much? Then maybe you’re a talk radio fan, so let’s count that as your kind of music. Simply vote where you listen to talk radio the most. If you’re a podcast addict, then you can count that as your “music” too. So with what you listen to the most, where do you listen to it. We all listen to something and it’ll be fun to see where NPUG members tune in to what they like.
