Let’s Get To Frappin’!
To have a little fun, we created a Frappr Map for NPUG. What’s Frappr? Well, it’s a free web service built on top of Google Maps that lets you see the zip code where your friends live or work. So by creating a Frappr map for NPUG, we’ll be able to see where the largest portion of our membership lives. In addition, it will allow us to see just how far NPUG reaches because roughly 20% of our membership lives outside of the Greater Nashville Area.
So point your browser over to the NPUG Frappr Map and add yourself today. The only information that you’re giving the free site is your zip code, so it’s safe, easy and fun!

I tried to add myself to the map and in doing so, might have screwed up. Feel free to remove me. I added a snapshot and in doing so, it appears as though I deleted you. Have fun.

Nope, it’s all good. I also see that we are now up to 5 people on the map and we have our first member that is not in the Nashville area. Robert Woodall is in St. Petersberg Florida!
Of course we have members in more distant locations, but I’m glad to see that people are taking to it and starting to poulate the map. This is fun!

Things have slowed a bit, but we just added our furthest member yet - Tamuning, Guam! That’s right, we have a member that is 7652 miles as the crow flies!
