Meeting Summary
The PalmSource Mobile Summit & DevCon 2005 was a HUGE success this year. In fact, for those that were in attendance, most would agree that it was the best DevCon since 2000. As luck would have it, Michael Ashby, NPUG’s Director was there in attendance and he’s brought back a ton of stuff to share with the group!
Mr. Ashby will share all the dish that’s not fit to print and share photos and stories of all that happened at the DevCon. The biggest news though is that NPUG was able to score a copy of Michael Mace’s presentation Keynote - A Glimpse into the Future. This PowerPoint presentation came directly from “the man” himself and we’ll walk through all the details and “tasty bits.” This is an exclusive that NPUG was able to land and a rare opportunity if you weren’t at the conference itself.
Of course there’s also plenty of goodies to give away as well, so if you want to “get the skinny” on where Palm OS is headed in the future and what to expect in the coming months, this is a meeting that you don’t want to miss.

Michael Ashby will give us an overview of what this year’s conference was like through stories, photos and a little audio as well. Having had a Palm OS Cobalt device in hand as well as a look at a lot of things coming soon to a store near you, there’s plenty to show and tell.
As if that wasn’t enough, we have a copy of Michael Mace’s awesome presentation Keynote - A Glimpse into the Future and we’ll walk through all the insights that he shared with the everyone at the DevCon. It was a kick-butt presentation and you’re sure to enjoy it!
