Meeting Summary

Your calender and your task list. Something you look at everyday and rely on to make sure that you’re where you need to be and working on what’s most important. For some folks the built in applications do just fine, but for many who need a little bit more power only a 3rd party application will do. There are many replacement Date Book applications to choose from, but by far the most powerful is DateBk5.

This month, NPUG is honored to have as it’s guest speaker, Stewart Dewar, the creator/programmer of DateBk. We’ll be turning over almost the entire meeting over to Mr. Dewar so that he can divulge all the advanced features, tips, tricks and goodies that are contained in this world-famous calendar application. Most of us have only scratched the surface of what DateBk5 can do and Stewart will be on hand to enlighten us all!

For those members who recall the last time Mr. Dewar spoke to our group, we didn’t have enough time to cover everything. This time will be completely different. Only 15 minutes of the meeting will be used for NPUG business, the remainder is reserved completely for DakeBk5. In planning this meeting, Stewart indicated that he didn’t cover the “advanced features”, so suffice to say that we wanted to give him all the time he needed. By far, our most popular guest speaker was Mr. Dewar, so if you only attend one NPUG meeting this year, THIS is the meeting to attend.
