Meeting Summary

It was 1999 and the Palm III, V and VII were all the rage. We didn’t know what was going to happen with the Y2k thing, but on October 6th, NPUG was born. From humble beginnings with only 5 members, we’ve grown to be one of the top PUGs in the world with over 830 members. Join us this month as we trace our roots and explore our future.

To help celebrate our 5th Birthday, we will also be holding a swap meet and our first ever “Give-Away-A-Thon”! Every few minutes we will giving something away, including a Tapwave Zodiac! If you have a few things you’d like to unload trade, or just want to go home loaded with Palm goodies, then this is the meeting youdon’t want to miss. Everyone is sure to go home with something.

Hard to believe that it’s been 5 years since NPUG was first launched. We’ll take a look back at “our formative years” through a selection of videos, slideshows, and stories from our members. Early members can look back and remember when and new members will see just how far we’ve come.

5. Swap Meet & Giveaway-a-thon
If you’re a card carrying “palm-a-holic”, then you’ve now doubt collected your fair share of stuff along the way. Well here’s your chance to swap or sell any of the things you’re not using! The second half of our meeting wil be a swap meet, where you’ll be able to put any Palm OS items you have up for auction and/or trade.

Throughout the swap meet, we’ll be giving away prizes galore every few minutes, so chances are you could leave with MORE than you came with!
