Meeting Summary
Palm OS devices are great productivity boosters and do wonders to help you get the job done. However when it’s time to kick back, your Palm can really make your life fun. This month we’re going to focus primarily on gaming. We’ll be looking at the best games out there for your handheld, but we also hope to have the latest greatest entertainment Palm OS device, the Tapwave Zodiac, in our hot little hands as well.
Last but not least, we’ll take a test drive of the AlphaSmart Dana Wireless laptop replacement. This is a kick-butt Palm OS solution that will make leaving your desktop all the easier. If there’s time, we’ll also take a look at a pocket size printer that you can use to print from your Palm.

4. AlphaSmart Dana Wireless
Alphasmart has added a new addition to its Dana family of Palm OS laptop replacements with the Dana Wireless. All the things you love about the Dana, but with built-in 802.11b Wi-Fi capability. We’ll take a look at this new must have Palm OS device and let everyone get a hands on opportunity to take it for a test drive
5. Tapwave Zodiac - Randy Jones
One of wildest Palm OS devices to be released, the Tapwave Zodiac brings handheld gaming to a whole new level. Take the fun of a gaming console, cross it with the power of a high-end PDA, integrate with MP3 player, photo viewer and videos and you’ve got Zodiac. It’s the perfect combination of functionality, technology and portability in a sleek package you’ll want to take everywhere.
We have two possible devices that may arrive in time for the meeting, but no promises. If neither of the devices arrive then we’ll postpone this section until next month.

6. Gaming - The Cream Of The Crop
With Christmas fast approaching a fun and easy gift for your Palm buddies is to purchase them a game, but which one should you get? Well Randy Jones, our local Palm OS gaming guru, is here to save the day. Randy will give us a quick overview of some of the best games out there in all major categories. From card games to full blown real time strategy, we’ll take a look as some of the best games that you should have on your Christmas list.
